About Me!
Hello!Hello! My name is Trevin Morley. I am a senior at Arizona State University, majoring in English and minoring in Anthropology. I chose to major in English because I am very passionate about reading. I believe reading is one of the most important tools we have access to. It is one of the best ways that we can learn what it is like to live a different life. From an anthropological perspective, reading exposes us to different societies and culture, helping us understand, and empathize with, the way other people live.
I began this blog out of concern after seeing multiple accounts on social media of teachers saying that their students were struggling to read more than they had seen before. Reading and writing are fundamental skills that are necessary for a successful life. Therefore, we must educate ourselves on the possible reasons America is in a literacy crisis.
